Hi! I’m Beth-Marie.

My journey into the world of breastfeeding began in 2008, shaped by a deeply personal and challenging experience that tested my confidence and resolve. At the time, I had no access to a Lactation Consultant or a supportive community—resources that could have made a significant difference in my experience.

When I welcomed my second child in 2011, breastfeeding was noticeably easier, though not without its own set of challenges. It took years of reflection to realize that my struggles were not unique—many mothers faced similar hurdles with little to no support.

Driven by a passion to change this reality, I immersed myself in the field of lactation over the next decade. I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and later an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), gaining experience in public, private, and hospital settings.

Out of this journey, Udder Love Lactation was born—a space dedicated to affirming, educating, and empowering breastfeeding families. My goal is to provide the support and encouragement I once wished for, offering evidence-based guidance to help families navigate their breastfeeding journey with confidence.
